Job Results: Pharmaceutical, Health Economics
One of the more fascinating branches of economics, health economics deals with the NHS, trusts and private sector medicine. In the broadest terms, health economists study the function of the health service in its most micro form, including the causes of ill health such as drug abuse, obesity and smoking (commonly the ‘big three’ highlighted by this category of economics). The general requirements for entry into this field are a postgraduate application and an MSc in health economics.
